History of Olympic Weightlifting
The Lift Up project is brought to you by chidlovski.com.
World Championship, East Germany, 1966: Viktor Kurentsov (USSR) dominated the middleweight class in the mid to late 1960s. His most impressive lifts were his clean-and-jerk. The footage shows Kurentsov's successful lift that brought him gold medal in the battle against legendary Waldemar Baszanowski (Poland).
