Pavel Kuznetsov (USSR) snatches 190 kg and clean-and-jerks 235 kg to earn the gold medal in the 100 kg weightclass at the 1988 Olympics. Representative of a well-known weightlifting dynasty from Vladimir, Russia, Kuznetsov was one of the finest Soviet subheavyweight lifters of the second half of the 1980s.
