Kevin Welch-Kennedy

I believe Kevin Kennedy was the last UK lifter to attempt a senior weightlifting world record . He made 3 attempts (2 outside competition) with a 142.5 snatch at lightweight (67.5) in late 1976 , after an earlier success with 135 . I think Roberto Urrutia (then Cuba , later USA) held the record at the time.
