mini-bio by HWF: He was born on June 14, 1973 in Avlona. He is 1.69m tall and competes in the 77-kilo category. He joined weightlifting in 1986. He returned to his roots in 1991 and he belongs to the Spartakos Club in Ioannina. He came 4th in Atlanta in 1996 obtaining the same points as the bronze winner who was lighter in weight. He was the silver Champion in Sidney in 2000. He is a high school graduate and a First Lieutenant in the Greek Air force.
